Christmas!

It's definitely looking like Christmas around here! We got tons of snow today and it's still coming down. I have procrastinated and have to go out in this crap tonight to buy groceries for Christmas dinner! I finally got all the wedding gifts put away so our house is looking a little less cluttered. I can't believe how much kitchen stuff we got!

He isn't a little puppy!

This is Kiersten's brother! He is the sweetest thing ever and like any Mom, I think he is so smart : ) He is 5 months old and I got him in Colorado. I had to drive all the way to Pueblo to get him but he was worth it! Kiersten loves him and he follows her everywhere. He is the funniest puppy ever, he is practically on speed for like an hour or so, then he passes out for two hours. It's just a cycle all day. He fetches and has pretty much gotten sitting figured out but we are working on more. I ordered a couple books to help train him so hopefully he is actually smart and becomes VERY obedient because it drives me crazy when dogs don't listen! I'm sure I will be putting more pics of him on here, he is pretty photogenic and I just love him.

Other than the dog, we are pretty stoked for Christmas. We got Kiersten some cool stuff and I can't wait to see how excited she is about her bike! It's been almost a month since we bought everything so I barely remember what we got, I guess I will be surprised too!

Merry Christmas!

The nice weather is over! It's SO cold!

     We are getting pretty excited about Christmas this year and it's definitely starting to look like it around here! It's been snowing lots the past few days and it's been absolutely freezing out. We got the tree up the weekend after Thanksgiving and we are done with the shopping! I even have everything wrapped already. With the wedding coming up I really wanted to get everything done. Looks like I will definitely be done with school the 14th so I have the whole week to get ready and be stressed! We have everything ready so just waiting now! Then we have Christmas, which we are makin a small dinner for us, Trenton, and Dad and whoever else shows up. We are trying a turkey this year (even though I'm not a fan) but hopefully its as good as the ham we made last year! Then hopefully we get a neice BEFORE Kiersten's birthday not the same day! I told her to shoot for a new year's baby cus you get so much stuff now! Then Jayden can come to her cousin's 2nd birthday party, how exciting!

Thank goodness for Thanksgiving Break!

   I was right, Thanksgiving came SO fast, I can't believe we are going Christmas shopping Friday and talking about putting a tree up! That also means that in less than a month, we are getting married, CRAZY! I'm so thankful for the rest of this week off tho, I really need to catch up with school and we actually get to go hang out with friends a couple nights this week. That never happens! Looks like my last day of class will be the 14th or 15th of December, just depending on finals. I'm SO excited to be done.
   Brandon's license finally came in after like a month of waiting, so he's official now! Hopefully he breaks a record for selling houses in the next couple months, cus we could definitely use the money and we can't have a baby 'til we get some! (My baby fever is calming down a little, I think cus of Trenton and Katie's baby coming so soon.)
    Kiersten is insane and I think she has grown 6 inches in the past month, she just kinda shot up there! She is talking a lot more and has pretty much got potty training down, she just wears a diaper to bed now. I can't wait to see her open gifts this year, I'm so excited for her. She is going to get horribly spoiled this Christmas and birthday I'm afraid.

Halloween is over...before we know it it'll be Thanksgiving!

Well to start off, Kiersten was a witch for Halloween in more ways than one. She looked way cute but hated her costume and cried most of the afternoon and evening, so that was awesome. But I got a few pictures...

She got to get her hair blow dried and wear some makeup.

Other than that just the usual around here! Trying to get wedding stuff done and over with!!!!

8 Weeks Left of School...Thank Goodness

     The countdown is on...I am SO OVER SCHOOL! I'm on fall break right now and it makes me not want to go back. I've just been cleaning though because we are getting our house inspected tomorrow and that makes me nervous! Other than that I'm trying to write this speech that I don't want to give. It's an inspiration speech and the topic choices are so stupid! I have to try to convince people to do something they already know they should...BORING. I got my grades back for midterm and I had 4 A's and 2 B's, those B's are in calc and economics and I'm just right on the border, I wish they rounded up..

     Kiersten is just huge and insane. She is so into music it's hilarious. She is always dancing and singing, and now she is making up her own songs! Last night she was singing about singing. She is definitely getting to the bratty terrible 2's. She sees toys at Wal-Mart and throws fits, gets angry when you don't understand what she is saying and is even talking back. She is always telling me I'm being mean or naughty! She is also very sweet though, she gives hugs and kisses all the time and says I love you.

     Still no license in the mail for Brandon. It's taking forever and if it takes much longer I'm going to have to win the lottery or something. He doesn't have much to do at work yet so he spent the last week making wedding invitations and calling for addresses. We also booked the Attic for our reception and he found out everything we have to do for the "ceremony." So he has at least been busy with wedding stuff! I mean how many fiancés help make the invitations????

Why doesn't "Autumn" exist in Wyoming???

It snowed an unbelievable amount here and it has been FREEZING, we were supposed to get like 6 inches, I don't know what we actually got but my car was buried this morning.

Where did Fall go?!!

    I don't remember what my last update was so lets see..............................

Brandon passed the real estate exam with a 91% on the state exam and an 88% on the national...and everyone said it was so hard! Haha, he was VERY excited and has been "working" for Coldwell Banker for the last week, it's "working" because you can't do much until your license comes in the mail (which can take like 3 weeks).  So we are pretty much dirt poor for a little while! He has been wearing ties and being a fancy boy all week though, which he loves.

    Kiersten is a potty training machine, she only wears diapers when she is sleeping and only seems to have accidents when she isnt at home. She just gets so distracted at the baby sitters or at grandma's but we are getting so close! It's so fantastic not buying diapers all the time! She is repeating EVERYTHING so we really have to watch what we say lately, especially me, she just follows me around and copies everything I do.

    School is going ok, I'm ready for it to be over already though, it's getting really old. It's also SO GROSS how sick everyone is and they don't stay at home, its nasty. I have been using hand sanitizer like a mad woman and washing my hands a lot more than usual.

    We are pretty excited for the holidays, Kiersten got her witch costume in the mail and it's ADORABLE. We practiced with some make up the other day and she is a monster already, she was batting her eyelashes in the mirror, it was ridiculous! Halloween we are just making the rounds to family and saving trick or treating for next year. Sounds like for Thanksgiving we are going to Mom's and we are gonna try to do our own Christmas again. Then, before we know it, it will be Kiersten's birthday again! How stressful haha, my next child's bday will be as far away from December and January as possible!

   Trenton and Katie's baby Jaiden(Idk if thats how they are spelling it but thats my preference I guess haha) is due January 9th I believe and Katies got a cute little belly finally, I'm super jealous. My baby fever is awful, I need vaccinated I guess. Speaking of vaccines, we got our flu shots Friday and MAN they hurt this year, my arm is still sore. Kiersten got one and is barely noticing though.

Oregon Trip

We got back from Oregon last week and it's been crazy ever since! We had a pretty good time, just almost too long of a vacation for me...I like my own bed too much! Brandon's last day of work was Thursday, he has this week off then he starts his class Saturday. His test is on the 30th so hopefully he just rocks it! He is just hanging out with Kiersten this week and says he is putting her through "Boot Camp." She is supposedly going to stop throwing fits and also be potty trained by the end of this week... He also has to buy a new dryer, because the day after we got back ours died! How dumb for that to happen NOW.

Kiersten LOVED the ocean and eating all the fresh berries in Oregon. She also went crazy at the aquarium and actually touched animals this time! Except stingrays still haha, those freak her out.

Brandon ate more berries than anyone, I stayed away from them, our Wyoming stomaches can't take all that fresh fruit. He really like the Oregon coast too and I think now agrees with me that we should move there.




She loved the waves, everytime I told her what it was though she would wave at and tell it bye.





Since then I've just been trying to get caught up with school, plan Katie's baby shower, and catch up on sleep! Trips are exhausting. Oh and I actually made a profit this time from AVON instead of buying too much for myself haha, so thats exciting!

Another disclaimer: We have gone back to our original plan and are now having a private wedding ceremony followed by a reception for everyone and it will be December 18. This time its final, I just wasn't into the wedding planning and we want to get Kiersten a little sister sooner rather than later! We do have a neice on the way right around Kiersten's 2nd birthday so hopefully that helps with my baby fever!

Back to School...

I don't know where the summer went! I had my first day of class today and it was so boring...I don't know why I even go to the first day! This semester should be a breeze as long as I keep up!

Kiersten was a little nervous to go back to the sitters but when I picked her up she was exhausted from all the fun she had, so hopefully she goes a little easier next time.

Brandon will start his real estate class on the 19th and his test is on the 30th I believe. He has already read over half the chapters he needs to and is taking all the quizzes and stuff and doing great! I'm very impressed and he is adorable when he is studying...I never went to school with him so "student" is a side I've never seen : )

We are leaving for Oregon on the 2nd and I can't remember the last time I was so excited about a trip! I can't wait to see Kiersten at the beach. I CAN however, wait to take her on a plane...I'm a little nervous about it.

Business Ventures!

Brandon and I had a busy day! He had a meeting with Coldwell Banker and signed up to take real estate classes and is very excited! He will work at Toromont til his layoff next month then start classes!
I also had a meeting today and am officially an Avon lady haha. It sounds funny but I think it could be really fun and help me to be able to stay home with Kiersten(for the most part til I'm done with school in December.) Where did the summer go???

We haven't been up to a whole lot lately, just working on the potty training! I already start class again on the 24th, yuck...but then I'm done for awhile so I'm just gonna have to suffer a little longer. Kiersten is just being a crazy girl ALL the time now. She has all of her books memorized and will dance to just about anything. She is just about the fastest kid I've ever met too, we need to get her into some baby races or something!

One week of Accounting left!!! No cable.

My online accounting class is over Friday and I should be surviving with about a B, I think, and I'll take it! Then I will be doing NOTHING in August but hanging out with Kiersten. I definitely want to go to the pool more and maybe the lake. We got rid of the cable to save money (and because we were watching tv way too much) and its definitely an adjustment. Kiersten gets up and wants to watch cartoons and of course doesn't understand what no cable means! So hopefully we get out and DO more. The weather isn't supposed to be that nice this week so this will be interesting, might need to get more movies! I have read about 10 books a day to her since we cancelled it tho, so thats a plus! I'm just getting sick of the same books! If Kiersten was a little older it wouldn't be so bad but she isn't really that into coloring yet and will only mess with a puzzle for about 3 minutes, she needs a hobby I guess haha.

We haven't done much wedding planning since we got the building but we did book our trip to Oregon for Labor Day and we are STOKED. We are staying with my cousin Mandy and we're hoping to go to the Portland Zoo, an aquarium, the coast and whatever else we can squeeze in. I'm very scared to take my un-entertainable child on a plane tho, it could be a disaster, or she could sleep the whole way...

It's Official!!!

We have booked the Wolcott Galleria here in Casper for June 12th of next year!!! Yay!!! What a relief. I feel so much better, now its real and I/we can actually start planning.

Finally nice weather!

This weekend was fun! Friday was a little rainy but Saturday was a nice day up until it was time to go to the fireworks and there were CRAZY thunderstorms. Sunday was a beautiful day but we were pretty laked out, so we came home early and took a family nap : )

Kiersten had a lot of fun tho! She played at the beach Saturday morning and rode in the boat all day Saturday. She fell asleep on the boat, which I thought was just crazy because the water was so choppy and it was a very bumpy ride. She was a little concerned about people skiing, she didn't quite understand why anyone would want to be drug around by the boat! I took her on the intertube for a SLOW ride but she didn't like it much. Eventually she had fun watching them ski tho and she would cheer and clap.

Our house survived the flooding we had this weekend and so did my little garden! The backyard was a little messy and Kierstens toys had obviously floated around the yard. Her pool was completely full and GROSS.

Austin's birthday is Wednesday so we are going to dinner over at Mom's then they are going to the fair but I think we will miss that part. The fair is just SO expensive and we have to really be saving right now.

As for the rest of the week, we aren't doing much. I'm hoping we reserve the place we want to get married at soon. I have a feeling if we don't, someone else is gonna get it and we will be back to square one!

What we're up to this week...

I'm so excited its the 4th of the July this weekend! Kiersten is lovin the lake so we are going to try to spend Friday thru Sunday out there. I hope the weather cooperates with our plans! Brandon isnt working Fridays now so we get to do a lot more over the weekends.

Until then, I am going to try to get as much Accounting done as possible. I have a huge project due by the 17th and I'm kinda freakin out about it. Thank goodness this class is over at the end of July, then I get almost a whole month to be LAZY!!!

Other than that we are just gonna be cleaning and hanging out so come see us!

Brandon has 2 softball games tonight but they are late games so Kiersten and I will probably not be going.

Trenton is home for good now from WYOTech so if anyone hears of good mechanics jobs let us know!
